LAHORE: Pace bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi has been appointed Lahore Qalandars' Ambassador in the coming edition of the Pakistan Super League, to be held in February next year.
His appointment as LQ ambassador means that he has been dropped down to silver category and now Lahore will go to the PSL Draft with four Silver players namely Shaheen Shah (Ambassador), Sohail Akhtar, Hassan Khan and Agha Salman, said a spokesman for the Pakistan Cricket Board, here on Tuesday night.
Since Lahore Qalandars have already traded their second round Silver pick with Quetta Gladiators, the Qalandars have given up their first round Silver pick as a result of this move, he said.
