Virat Kohli is a legend,I am no match for him: Babar Azam

Pakistani cricketer Babar Azam doesn't agree with those who love to draw criticism between Indian captain Virat Kohli and him.

Speaking at a post-match press conference after scoring 97 (not out) against West Indies in the National Stadium, he said: I am nowhere near Virat Kohli, he is a legend".

I try to compete with him. But to people who say i am near him, i think he is far better. I try to give performances like him that could lead to my team's victory.

Azam missed a maiden hundred by three runs as Pakistan trounced the West Indies by 82 runs in the second Twenty20 international in Karachi on Monday, taking an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.

Babar cracked 13 fours and a six in his 58-ball innings, reaching 97 not out to guide Pakistan to their highest-ever T20 total of 205-3 in 20 overs after Sarfraz Ahmed won the toss and decided to bat first at the National Stadium.
