SRINAGAR: At least Five Indian soldiers and five suspected militants were killed in a fierce gun battle near Srinagar in held Kashmir.
According to details, the gunfight started on Tuesday between Indian soldiers and suspected militants in the forested area of Kupwara, a border region in Indian held Kashmir, killing five Five Indian soldiers and five suspected militants.
The identity of the militants is yet to be established as the gunfight ended late on Wednesday.
The fighting took place near Halmathpora, one of the nearest villages before the Line of Control (LoC).
