SHARJAH: Lahore Qalandars in a poor batting performance again were bowled out for a low score of 100 against Peshawar Zalmi in the fourteenth Twenty20 match in the third edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) here at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Saturday.
Batting first after Lahore Qalandars won the toss, their openers Fakhar Zaman and captain Brendon McCullum made a good start of 42 but then the batting line started to be collapsed and the whole team was dismissed for exact 100 runs in 17.2 overs.
Fakhar top scored with 30 from 17 balls, hitting four boundaries and two sixes while followed by McCullum (15), Umar Akmal (15), Agha Salman (13) and Sohail Akhtar (12).
No other batsman could get into the double figures.
Left-arm spinner Liam Dawson and medium fast bowler Hasan Ali captured three wickets each for 20 and 22, respectively while Wahab Riaz claimed two for 14.
