48th IFFI awards kicks off in Goa
GOA, India: 48th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) kicked off at the Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium in Goa's capital of Panaji.

GOA, India: 48th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) kicked off at the Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium in Goa's capital of Panaji.
The festival was inaugurated by Shahrukh Khan.
The festival will be hosting 195 films submitted from filmmakers across 82 countries, which will be premiered in 10 world premiers, 10 Asian and international premieres and 64 Indian premiers.
The International Film Festival of India was first held in 1952 with 23 participating countries and has ever since grown by leaps and bounds.
The festival will also pay homage to industry veterans who have passed away.
The festival will also feature many women filmmakers.
