DUBAI: A husband in Saudi Arabia divorced her wife for walking ahead of him despite repeated warnings by him, according to media reports.
The Gulf News quoted Saudi daily Al Watan as saying that the man, whose identity could not be ascertained divorced his wife after he warned the spouse many warnings to walk one step behind him but she kept walking ahead of the husband.
Growing calls are emerging in the Kingdom to provide married couples, especially newlyweds, with counselling services as Saudis are becoming increasingly alarmed over the rate of divorces.
