Pakistan win two gold medals at Borneo Junior Open Squash C'ship in Malaysia
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Muhammad Huzaifa Ibrahim and Uzair Rasheed won titles at the 3rd CMS Borneo Junior Open International Squash Championship - 2017 in Sarawak Malaysia.
In the under-13 category, top seed Huzaifa won the gold medal defeating Oscar Barry Curtis of Australia 13-11, 11-1, 11-9 in the final while in the under-19 category, Uzair surprised second seed Dheena Dharshan Sivabalan of Malaysia 11-9, 11-6, 11-8 in the final to win the gold medal.
This is Huzaifa's 9th international title and the third for the last six months. He earlier won the Houston International Junior Squash Championship and the Washington International Junior Squash Championship in the United States this year.
Besides, Amna Fayyaz has won a bronze medal in the U-15(Girls) category.
