LONDON: Test cricketer Nasir Jamshed said on Friday that he was ready to cooperate with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in the spot-fixing scandal and has nothing to do with the rumours being circulated about him in the media.
He said, in a video message, that he was neither hiding from anyone nor had changed his residence in London. I have nothing to do with the rumours being reported about him in the media in this connection.
Jasmhed suggested the PCB to let the inquiry being conducted against him be completed in the UK before initiating the same in Pakistan. The PCB officials are already in contact with the National Crimes Agency (NCA) in London, he said and added that the board had also suspended the FIA probe.
The opening batsman was suspended from all forms of cricket for his alleged involvement in the PSL corruption scandal last month.
Nasir Jamshed, 27, a left-handed batsman has appeared in two Tests, 48 ODIs and 18 T20 internationals for Pakistan cricket team.
