KARACHI: Petrol pumps in Karachi are still facing fuel shortage despite the end of the oil tankers’ strike here on Tuesday.
Petrol Pumps Association Chairman, Sami Khan said they are receiving complains of fuel shortage on 10-20 percent of petrol pumps across the city. However, supply in other cities of Sindh is normal, he added.
The news of petrol shortage has caused panic among the Karachiites who scrambled to pumps with cans to store fuel.
On the other hand, the government dispelled the impression that there is a fuel shortage in the city.
DG Oil told Geo News that the strike had caused some disruption in supply but now the strike has been ended.
