It's confirmed! Brazilian football icon Ronaldinho is coming to Pakistan

KARACHI: Media reports claiming Brazilian icon and FC Barcelona midfielder Ronaldinho were finally confirmed true by none other than the former FIFA Player of the Year himself in a video message, on Sunday.

According to details, Ronaldinho tweeted a video in which he said,"Pakistan, I am coming" and held up Pakistan's national flag. Further details about his visit could not be confirmed however Geo TV's website claimed that Ronaldinho will play in one of the league matches which will be held in Karachi. The organisers of the Leisure League have invited the Brazilian football great to play a match in Karachi.

"I can confirm that Leisure Leagues will be bringing Ronaldinho to Pakistan. More details of this will be revealed in our press conference in the next few days," said Shahrukh Sohail, country consultant of Leisure Leagues according to Geo TV's website.

Ronaldinho has played for Brazil's national football team and also for Spanish football powerhouse club Barcelona. He is currently the club ambassador for Barcelona FC. He is a renowned player in the sense that he happens to be part of the 2002 Brazil football World Cup winning squad and also happened to play a pivotal role in Barcelona's 2006 UEFA Champions League victory.
