LAHORE: Former Pakistan cricket team captain and fast bowler Wasim Akram said on Sunday that his show "The Sportsman" will feature interesting discussions and chitchat with the legends of cricket.
The former fast bowler, who took 502 wickets in One Day International and 414 Test match wickets for Pakistan, said that "The Sportsman" show will also feature interesting and entertaining discussions with the legends of cricket.
"I interviewed legends for "The Sportsman" show," said Wasim.
Former fast bowler Wasim Akram will host the show, which will begin airing on Geo News from August 28. Commenting on the recent Pakistan-England series, Wasim Akram said that the English batsmen got scared of Pakistani bowlers. Wasim said that Pakistan's comeback in the Test match series after two losses was remarkable. He also advised the team on how to put up an impressive performance in the upcoming ODI series.
"The Pakistani team should play the whole fifty overs in the upcoming ODI series," said Akram. "The good batsman is able to adjust in all three formats of the game," said Wasim.
Snippets of the upcoming show feature Wasim interviewing legends such as Waqar Younis, Moin Khan and Muhammad Yousuf.
