Chad Lowe shares poignant reflection on life after daughter's tragic death
Chad Lowe returns to social media following the major family loss
Grieving father Chad Lowe, broke his social media silence with a poignant message days after his 13-year-old daughter's tragic death
The Pretty Little Liars star took to his Instagram account amid his grief and shared an emotional message on faith, existence and the afterlife.
For those unversed, Chad's middle child Fiona, took her own life last month.
He posted a video of Irish author Gerry Hussey's 2025 appearance on Olivia Hunt's podcast On Healing, in which he said, “We both possess the human and the divine. We are connected to everything that is. It just makes sense, and there’s nothing there but peace and love. So when we die, where do we go? We return to a state of peace and love.
"I wasn't Gerry before I was born, but I had to exist because in a womb, where you have your cells and your genes and your proteins, but they can't move by themselves. There's a spirit that enters the body."
The author further emphasized on having firm belief within faith.
"It is a frequency. It's an energy field, and we possess it all the time within ourselves. We are all part of the frequency. We all possess direct access to that.”
He went on to share detail about how people possess both “the human and the divine,” through consciousness and awareness.
Gerry noted that when a human lets go of his “physical human needs and the needs of the ego" and we” he connect to a feeling “that is the divine frequency, the Christ consciousness.”
"In that moment, and I'm lucky enough to have experienced that multiple times in my life, it all makes absolute sense,” the author shared, adding, "You have to just trust. Because when you see the world through the eyes of the human ego, nothing makes sense.
"But when you ask yourself the deeper, bigger questions and you move beyond human existence and through meditation or something else, you experience the transcendental experience, We are connected to everything that is," he explained.
Chad, who is also father of Mabel, 17, and 10-year-old Nixie, whom he shares with his wife Kim Painter, previously remembered Fiona calling her "a loving young girl who was smart, creative, and loved to dance.”
