Anna Faris shares vulnerable truth about raising Chris Pratt's son: 'I was kind of messing up'
Anna Faris revealed the insecurities she faced as a mom
Anna Faris opened up about her motherhood journey, revealing that she has doubted herself if she deserves to be a mom.
In a recent chat with E News, the Scary Movie star confessed that she found it hard to relate to fellow mothers while parenting her and her ex-husband Chris Pratt's son Jack, who is now 13 years old.
Expressing her thoughts Anna told the outlet at the premiere of Spa Weekend in Las Vegas, “I didn't always feel like I fit in with the mothers of the parents of his friends."
“I always felt like I was kind of messing up somehow. I know I'm doing something wrong here.”
However, Anna's worries soon alleviated as her son “knows a whole lot more than" she thought he would.
Gushing over her son Anna said, “I am proud that he has a deep sense of justice and I find him just fascinating.”
Despite feeling that she was not “fundamentally well suited to be a mom” as was “an older mom,” Anna admitted it was an honor for her to raise Jack.
The doting mom further added, “I’m so lucky. I'm just so lucky that I have this incredible, fascinating boy.
“I hope I'm doing OK.”
It is pertinent to mention that Anna Faris and Chris Pratt married in 2009 and welcomed their son Jack in 2012 before parting their ways in 2018.
