Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres breaks silence on transfer links
Viktor Gyokeres enjoyed a productive first season in north London, scoring 21 goals as Arsenal secured the Premier League title
Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres has addressed speculation surrounding his future, insisting he is happy at the club despite being linked with a summer move.
According to Fotbollskanalen, the Sweden international has recently been the subject of transfer rumours, including reports suggesting he could be involved in a potential deal with Atletico Madrid for forward Julian Alvarez.
Gyokeres, however, dismissed concerns over his future and made it clear he remains content at the Emirates after an impressive debut campaign.
Speaking to Fotbollskanalen, he said: “Of course it’s flattering to see that clubs are interested, but I feel extremely comfortable at Arsenal. After the season we have had, I only have positive feelings.”
The 27-year-old enjoyed a productive first season in north London, scoring 21 goals as Arsenal secured the Premier League title.
His performances have strengthened his reputation as one of the club's key attacking players.
Although Arsenal continue to be linked with new forwards during the transfer window, Gyokeres' comments suggest he has no desire to leave.
His versatility and goalscoring record could provide valuable depth as the Gunners prepare to compete in both the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League next season.
