Prince Harry suffers fresh blow as William 'rejects reunion'
Prince Harry will travel to the UK next month with Meghan Markle and their children
Prince Harry is expected to visit the UK next month with Meghan Markle and their children.
The couple's upcoming trip could give the Duke of Sussex a chance to reconnect with King Charles, but a reunion with Prince William is highly unlikely.
According to royal commentator Dan Wakeford, the brothers’ long-running rift is still far from resolved.
"The king is the door that might open, but the Wales household is completely bolted shut right now," he said, as per The Blast.
"[William's] stance has not changed, and they would not arrange to see Harry and Meghan outside an official public engagement,” added Dan.
Recently, Royal commentator Amanda Matta revealed she isn't convinced that Harry will meet Prince William during this upcoming trip.
“I think it is almost impossible to draw any conclusions about a reconciliation between Harry and William at this stage,” she told Page Six on June 22.
The Off With Their Headlines podcast co-host described the relationship between Harry and William as one of the "most strained" within the royal family.
“William is also seeking to project strength and leadership these days, which often results in press briefings that he has opposed the king’s handling of emotionally charged issues like Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and now, Harry’s potential return,” said Amanda.
