Fortnite leak teases another Spider-Man crossover
Upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie will feature Spider-Man wearing a new suit
Spider-Man is returning to Fortnite this season, according to prominent leaker HYPEX. The confirmation marks the game's latest Marvel collaboration as the studio prepares tie-in content for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, arriving in theatres on July 30.
With HYPEX revealing that Spider-Man’s web-shooters will make a comeback, there’s one aspect of the game that players have really enjoyed during past crossovers. But apart from that, Brand New Day content might also be headed our way according to the leaker.
This upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie will feature Spider-Man wearing a new suit, based on some classic comic designs.
This is another aspect of fresh skin potential for Epic Games, particularly if the skin can be made different from the six existing Spider-Man skins in Fortnite.
There are a lot of villain characters in Spider-Man: Brand New Day that haven't been used in Fortnite but that can bring a whole lot of new skin ideas to the game. Boomerang and Scorpion don't have any skin designs in Fortnite while being featured in comics.
The one thing that hasn't happened in Fortnite so far but can happen in this film is the adding of Frank Castle, played by Jon Bernthal. Speculations on social networks say Brand New Day will feature this character. It actually would make a lot of sense to add this Marvel grittiest hero to the battle royale game.
