Victoria Beckham and a new damehood to ‘match’ David: Source comes clean

A source has just come out to expose something secret that Victoria Beckham has been hoping for, something to help her ‘match’ her husband David who just recently became one of the people who received a Knighthood from King Charles, for services to sport and charity.

For those unversed, Vic is also the recipient of an OBE which was offered to her back in 2017 as a result of her services to fashion and the industry at large. It was given by none other than Prince William himself. However her desires are not to ‘match’ David by boasting a damehood herself.

What is pertinent to mention about that particular title is that it is an honorary title given to women by the British monarch. It is also equivalent to a knighthood for men. Those who receive it can legally place ‘Dame’ in front of their name (for women) and ‘Sir’ (for men).

According to a source that exposed all of this, the desire runs deep for Victoria.

They even told Heat World, “Victoria knows that being Lady Beckham is amazing - but she would like something that is just for her.”

However, what they did make sure to admit is that “she’s grateful for everything she has and she knows she is blessed - but to have another moment of recognition for her work would be nice.”

One of the biggest motivators behind this is her daughter Harper because as the source explains "more than anything, Victoria wants her kids to be proud of her - especially Harper, who is following in her mum's entrepreneurial footsteps.”

The insider also says, “Victoria deserves to be acknowledged for her work - not just as a global pop star. Her passion is in making change - the hours of time she has invested into fashion and beauty. Everything Victoria does is given 200 percent of her time. She works from 3am until 1am in the morning - she is a total workaholic - so believes a pat on the back would be lovely.”
