Falcons sign Drake London to massive $141 million contract extension
Drake London, who was selected eighth overall in the 2022 NFL Draft, has improved in each of his four seasons
The Atlanta Falcons have reportedly agreed to a four-year contract extension worth $141 million with wide receiver Drake London following his impressive rise as the team’s leading offensive target.
According to NFL insiders Ian Rapoport and Adam Schefter, the deal includes $100 million guaranteed and could rise to $150 million through bonuses.
The agreement makes London one of the highest-paid wide receivers in the NFL.
He reportedly trails only Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Ja’Marr Chase in total contract value among players at his position.
London, who was selected eighth overall in the 2022 NFL Draft, has improved in each of his four seasons with the Falcons.
After recording solid numbers in his first two years, he broke out in 2024 with 100 receptions, 1,271 receiving yards and nine touchdowns.
Despite missing time with hip and knee problems, London still managed 68 catches for 919 yards and seven touchdowns.
The 24-year-old was entering the final season of his rookie contract, which would have paid him $16.8 million for the upcoming campaign.
