Justin Baldoni embraces 'fresh start' after ending feud with Blake Lively
Justin Baldoni is 'ecstatic' after settling his legal case with Blake Lively
Justin Baldoni is building a new life in Nashville with his wife, Emily, after ending his legal battle with Blake Lively.
"It's obviously been an incredibly difficult time for the whole family, but Nashville has given them a fresh start,” the source told People magazine.
“Justin and Emily are both incredibly resilient and grounded,” continued the insider. “Justin's not someone who sits around dwelling on the past and feeling sorry for himself.”
“Right now, their focus is really on family and moving forward," added the confidant.
For those unversed, Justin and Emily tied the knot in 2013. The couple shares two kids, daughter Maiya Grace, 10, and son Maxwell Roland-Samuel, 8.
On May 6, Justin's attorney, Bryan Freedman, told Extra TV that the actor is "ecstatic" after settling his legal case with Blake.
“I can’t talk about the terms of the settlement, but what I can tell you is that he is ecstatic," said Bryan.
“If you’re looking at this settlement as a win or a loss or anything else, I think he just looks at it as a logical ending to a case that he was already out of," added Justin's lawyer.
Earlier this week, lawyers for Justin and Blake announced in a joint statement that an agreement had been reached.
“The end product – the movie It Ends With Us – is a source of pride to all of us who worked to bring it to life. Raising awareness, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of domestic violence survivors – and all survivors – is a goal that we stand behind," the actors' attorneys said in a joint statement on Monday.
“We acknowledge the process presented challenges and recognize concerns raised by Ms Lively deserved to be heard,” read the statement. “We remain firmly committed to workplaces free of improprieties and unproductive environments. It is our sincere hope that this brings closure and allows all involved to move forward constructively and in peace, including a respectful environment online.”
