Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's last engagement in Jordan was a visit to a cancer care center.

On Thursday, Feb. 26, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited the King Hussein Cancer Centre alongside a delegation from the World Health Organization.

The King Hussein Cancer Foundation and its clinical arm, the King Hussein Cancer Centre focus on thorough cancer care, research, prevention and ealry detection of the disease.

The centre, founded in 2001 by royal decree, is led by Princess Ghida Talal and managed by a board of trustees. Its mission is to extend cancer care across the country and even other Arab countries.

Harry and Meghan’s visit came after both Princess Kate and King Charels got diagnosed with cancer. While the Princess of Wales is now in remission, the King continues to battle the disease.

The Sussexes’ last day in Jordan also included a visit to the regional headquarters of World Central Kitchen. The humanitarian trip also included visits dedicated to health response, mental health support, support for conflict torn and disaster struck communities.

Meanwhile, the King also shared some "good news" regarding his cancer treatement during his Stand Up To Cancer broadcast in December, saying, "thanks to early diagnosis, effective intervention and adherence to doctors’ orders, my own schedule of cancer treatment can be reduced in the New Year.”
