The royal expert continued, “She will attend the championships solo, and she will not be joined by her husband or her children.”

Meanwhile, Kate’s brother James Middleton also took to Instagram and shared a loved-up-photo with his wife Alizee and revealed they will also attend Ladies’ Singles Final at Wimbledon.

Sharing the photo, James writes “Matchy matchy for @wimbledon.”

The palace announcement came a day after King Charles hosted Prince Harry and met with his family Meghan Markle and their children Archie and Lilibet for the first time in years on Friday as they try to repair a rift that has persisted since a public, high-profile falling out that saw his youngest son and wife quit royal life and move to America six years ago.

Harry's family had travelled from an unspecified destination in Europe for the meeting with King Charles.

Queen Camilla was also present in the meeting.
