Goldie Hawn spills secret behind Kate Hudson’s screen talent
The dotting mom gushed over daughter Kate Hudson's acting gift
Goldie Hawn credited "genetics" for her daughter Kate Hudson's acting skills.
In a recent chat with People before a Q&A session for Hudson's new film Song Sung Blue, Hawn gushed over her daughter's performing skill calling it a gift they all carry as a family.
"It's instinct. It isn't learning," Hawn declared, noting, "We all live together. We're a family together. And we have genetics that are very similar."
Offering insights into how she sees the talent in her kids and Hudson's kids, Hawn continued, "All of us, we see somebody in here and I look at Ryder and I see Oliver, [Hudson's sons] and the kids. But I don't think that there's...We learn by example. We don't learn by oration, rhetoric, none of that."
"Katie's obviously come from two people who make movies, and with that, you see how we behaved," the doting mom added.
Whereas, for Hudson, she believes growing up on a set and learning from the experiences also played a role in polishing her acting talent, "I think it's also more about the set experience for me as a kid growing up than it is maybe about...Because we never got to work together. And I think I've learned the most from people that I'm actually studying with and working with."
