Prince William’s new PR appointment hints at bigger palace shift
Prince William has reportedly hired a senior crisis communications expert in his PR team as the royal family braces for ongoing and any upcoming challenges linked to Prince Harry and Prince Andrew.
According to a report by Radaronline.com, the 43-year-old prince is the communication expert, Liza Ravenscroft, from global communications firm Edelman.
As suggested, the move was apparently made after foreseeing the recent pressure from several fronts, including Prince Andrew’s past links to convicted s** offender Jeffrey Epstein, tensions with Prince Harry, and King Charles' health scare.
Ravenscroft's appointment is said to have been suggested by Julian Payne, a former senior royal aide.
An insider told the outlet, “Julian Payne never really severed his ties with the King, so it is no accident that a senior figure from his team has ended up working with William.
“The timing matters, it follows a turbulent spell and reflects a push to bring Kensington Palace and Buckingham Palace into much closer step as plans increasingly focus on William's upcoming succession.”
The tattler noted that the move shows the palace will need “tighter, brand-focused coordination.”
However, a second source claimed that Ravenscroft will work in a “non-crisis” role with more focus on everyday media engagement.
