Prince Harry reportedly wants to leave the US for Portugal
Reports say Prince Harry has no option but to leave the country
In 2020, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, announced they would step back from royal duties and move to the US to start fresh.
Five years later, a report claims the Duke of Sussex did not find the spark in California, the city where the royal couple settled, as he had expected.
"He’s miserable – his career hasn’t taken off, he hasn’t got any good friends, and he can’t stand the fact they’re being shunned by Hollywood," an insider tells Heat World.
It further adds that the royal prince has “made it clear to Meghan he’s had enough and wants out," who reportedly wants to stay in her home country.
The report also points to his win in a UK government review of his security arrangements, indicating that "desperate Harry is to spend more time in his home country."
But his wife, Meghan, has an oversized sway on the decisions of their family, the source alleges, "Meghan kept telling him to let it be, but she knows deep down that he’s done it in part to try and escape.”
“Harry hasn’t had much opportunity to pursue the things he loves – their life has mainly been steered by Meghan and her passions,” the insider notes.
However, Harry is determined to move to another country. The report named it Portugal. One reason for shifting across the pond is his cousin, Princess Beatrice, who is based there. there.
It is worth noting that the report comes on the heels of the father-of-two saying he has "no plans to be a US citizen at this point."
