Westminster Abbey London has just shared a series of snaps to kick off their reflective ‘Year in Pictures’ bid that attempts to reminisce upon all that has happened as 2025 draws to a close

With 2025 ending in less than 10 days, the official Instagram account of Westminster Abbey London has just released a collection of four pictures, each showcasing some of the biggest moments ever to grace its halls.

The collection of pictures not only showed off the special services, but also featured some celebration snaps that were commemorated this year.

Among one of them, the series started with images dating back to March, according to the caption. In it the King and Queen, alongside other members of the Royal Family attended the annual Commonwealth Day service.

For those unversed with the Abbey, as per the official website it is called “an architectural masterpiece of the 13th to 16th centuries”.

In years past Westminster Abbey has become a “treasure house of artefacts.” Furthermore “this is also the coronation church where some of the most significant people in Britain's history are buried or commemorated.”
