Insiders have claimed that Prince Harry’s plans about his wife Meghan Markle have left his estranged brother William further upset amid their ongoing rift.

The Closer, citing the sources, has reported that the Duke is planning to team up with streaming giant Netflix for a new project to mark the 30th anniversary of Princess Diana’s tragic death.

Harry has assigned Meghan a lead role for it.

The close confidant tells the outlet, despite Prince William’s anger, Harry remains steadfast in his belief that his wife genuinely embodies many of the qualities he most admired in his mother Princess Diana and is adamant that she join him on the project.

“As much as it might enrage his brother, Harry genuinely does see Meghan as this modern version of his beloved mother. He will absolutely want her to participate in this," the close source continued.

“It’s a very emotional undertaking for Harry. Next year will mark three decades since they lost Diana, and he says in some moments it feels as though it just happened yesterday, the pain is still so deep.”

Prince Harry feels a lot of responsibility to protect Diana’s memory, the insider said and went on saying the former Princess of Wales humanitarian work is what mattered to her most, and Harry feels like that often gets overshadowed by all the royal stuff and the drama around her death, “so a documentary highlighting her many, many contributions, large and small, is needed, in his view, to keep her true legacy alive.”

However, Prince William has been left ‘sickened’ by the California-based royal couple’s plans.

William is convinced it’s another chance for Harry and Meghan to turn a profit.
