Ex–Prince Andrew spotted in newly released Jeffrey Epstein photos

Former prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been spotted in newly surfaced images released from the Jeffrey Epstein estate.

The photo in question happens to be part of a tranche of 95,000 files currently being scrutinised by Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee.

The nineteen photos, made public on December 12, also feature Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, Woody Allen, Bill Gates, Steve Bannon, and Richard Branson.

However, the Andrew photo stands out as it does not show Epstein, also leading to speculations that the photo was altered, People reported.

The original photo shows Andrew and Bill Gates with King Charles at a 2018 London summit, but King Charles is cropped out in the new version from the estate.

A committee spokesperson said the photo “arrived that way.”

Some other materials did hint at Andrew’s ties to Epstein, including a 2011 email addressed to “TheDuke,” in which Epstein dismisses media reporting as “complete an utter fantasy.”

The photo release comes as Andrew recently made his first public appearance by attending the December 12 christening of his granddaughter, Athena, at St James’s Palace.

It was one of his few family appearances since King Charles removed Andrew's royal titles in October. His fall from public life traces back to his long-documented association with Epstein.

The former prince has denied allegations from survivor Virginia Giuffre, who accused him of sexually abusing her at 17.

He settled her civil suit in 2022. Giuffre later died by suicide in April 2025, and renewed the scandal as she left a posthumous memoir, in which she wrote that Andrew “believed having sex with me was his birthright.”
