Prince Harry's old flirty chat with reporter comes to light during privacy lawsuit
The exchange of message took place more than a decade ago
Prince Harry's flirty exchange of messages got resurfaced during his privacy lawsuit.
The Duke of Sussex had a conversation with journalist Charlotte Griffiths via Facebook messages back in December 2011 and January 2012.
But after learning Charlotte was a reporter, Harry cut off the contact.
On Tuesday, during the closing hearing in his trial against the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday, the messages surfaced, as per a report by The Times.
Charlotte was an editor at the Associated Newspapers, which also includes the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday.
In the text messages, the reporter mentioned Harry as “Mr Mischief” and “H Bomb.”
“Hello Mr Mischief . . . What a fun weekend of naughtiness — can’t we all get up to no good in the countryside every weekend damn it?? Smooches, CG String,” Charlotte's message from December 2011 read which was reportedly a response to Harry who said, “It’s H, incase u were confused by name and picture!!! X”
Another message by Charlotte from January 2012 said they missed each other at a mutual friend's home.
To which Harry responded, “I wish I was there sugar but unfortunately stuck in Cornwall doing Army stuff."
Harry allegedly signed off the text writing, “Hope you’re really well Griff... Miss our movie snuggles!!”
The texts were exposed earlier this year after Prince Harry defended himslef saying, “I am not friends with any of these journalists.”
