Prince Harry, Meghan Markle mocked over ‘out of touch’ Netflix project

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are facing heavy criticism online after announcing a new polo-themed drama for Netflix.

Sources said their decision has sparked one of the strongest trolling waves online they have seen in a while.

According to reports, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are working on the series through their Archewell Productions deal with the platform.

The show is written by Francisca X Hu and will focus on rival polo teams and their families in Wellington, Florida, a major hub for the sport in the US. 

Speaking on it, an insider said, "This news has prompted the most brutal wave of trolling Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have easily faced in a long time, with people openly saying no one wants a polo drama or feels there is any need for it.

"The criticism has been relentless, with a lot of commentary suggesting the concept feels out of touch and difficult for audiences to connect with."
