Beatrice, Eugenie to miss Easter service because of Prince William, Kate?
Prince William, Kate Middleton's Easter return raises questions over Beatrice, Eugenie’s absence
Prince William and Kate Middleton’s are expected to attend the Royal family’s Easter Sunday service this year after two years.
And according to a royal expert, the Prince and Princess of Wales’ return could be one of the reasons why Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie will not attend the event.
Speaking with The Express, brand expert Nick Ede said William and Kate represent the future of the Royal family and their presence at the service helps show stability and unity.
He added that the royal household may want to keep the focus on the main working members at this time given the controversy surrounding Beatrice and Eugenie’s parents, Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, over their past association with Jeffrey Epstein.
"The expected presence of Prince William and Catherine is quite telling as they represent the future of the Royal Family,” the expert said.
Ede added, “Their attendance reinforces a narrative of continuity and control, and they won't want anything to do with the Yorks at this moment."
William and Kate missed the event last year as they spent the day privately in Norfolk with their kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
The couple was also absent the year before because the Princess of Wales was receiving cancer treatment.
