Conner Floyd reflects on his character's scary exit from 'The Young and the Restless'
Conner Floyd opens up about the way his character exited 'The Young and the Restless'
Conner Floyd has finally spoken out about the shocking exit of his character from The Young and the Restless.
For those unaware, the 33-year-old actor Phillip "Chance" Chancellor is in more than 275 episodes of the CBS soap opera, which started in 2021.
However, in the July 28 episode, Chance was murdered, which ended his time on the show. Still, the series holds a big surprise for its loyal fans.
After his character’s dramatic exit from The Young and the Restless, Floyd has landed a role in Days of Our Lives. He will play the role of Chad DiMera, which was being played by Billy Flynn.
Speaking with PEOPLE magazine at the recent Days of Our Lives 60th anniversary celebration, Floyd admitted he found Chance's death scene "cool” in The Young and the Restless.
"He went out like a hero. They didn't have a funeral or anything, but that's okay," he quipped and went on to tease, "You never know, he could come back."
"You never know in daytime — you never know. No one's ever dead, right?" Conner Floyd noted.
