Kanye West iconic anthem erupts through giant football stadium after historic win
'Power' by Kanye West roused a packed stadium after a historic win
The craze of Kanye West knows no bounds. Here is a key example.
Al Ahli Saudi FC, the premier club team in Saudi Arabia, recently won the AFC Champions League – marking their back-to-back win.
As they celebrated their historic victory in front of a sea of 60,000 fans, a familiar music was played in the background.
It was West's hit track, Power.
Released in 2010 and part of the album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Power has become an expression in itself.
In the packed stadium – also the home ground of Al Ahli – the atmosphere was electric.
Under volleys of fireworks, Ye's iconic anthem powered the crowd as players clapped and soaked in their victory.
India's concert of Kanye West is postponed
West was set to arrive in New Delhi for a hotly anticipated concert on May 23.
However, it is now postponed, sending a shock to his fans.
The reason, according to reports, was security concerns.
As an apology, the organisers, White Fox, said in a statement, “We are deeply disheartened to announce that Ye Live in India, scheduled for 23rd May 2026 in New Delhi, will not be able to proceed due to directives issued by officials."
"After months of planning and preparation for what was set to be one of the largest live productions ever staged in India, the safety and well-being of attendees and the citizens of India remain our highest priority during this sensitive time."
"We extend our sincere gratitude to every fan, partner, crew member, and supporter who stood with us throughout this journey."
Meanwhile, a possible new date for West's concert has been explored.
