'Disgraced' Andrew eyeing big move amid Royal Lodge eviction
Former Prince Andrew recently lost his royal titles and residence amid renewed controversy over Jeffrey Epstein ties
Former Prince Andrew is planning a big move as he is set to relocate to a $13 million villa in Abu Dhabi as pressure builds over his connection to Jeffrey Epstein.
According to Radar Online, the “disgraced” royal sees the heavily guarded home as a private place where he can avoid the intense media attention.
An insider revealed that Abu Dhabi palace had become "virtually the only true escape option" for Andrew.
Reports reveal that the villa, offered by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, has a home cinema, indoor pool and gym.
Andrew’s move comes as U.S. lawmakers increase pressure for him to give evidence and as King Charles grows frustrated with the ongoing Epstein scandal.
"Andrew thinks of it as the one place where he can slip away from all the noise. People close to him feel he may need some distance, and that he might need it soon,” they said.
Another insider added, "He'd be content living somewhere with tightly controlled media, where he'd still be regarded as a senior royal and could easily keep a low profile.”
“His interactions with young women also wouldn't face the same level of scrutiny in Abu Dhabi."
Meanwhile, a source revealed that Charles and Queen Camilla have finally "lost patience" with Andrew and "grown totally sick of him heaping shame on the monarchy."
