Prince George has “loved” a gift of pressed apple juice when Princess Kate visited TV and radio star Roman Kemp and his family in Hertfordshire back in February 2023.
The meeting was part of a collaboration for Catherine’s Shaping Us mental health campaign.
Roman Kemp told The Sun that his parents, including I’m a Celebrity star Martin Kemp, presented Catherine with some homemade apple juice from their garden.
In that sweet follow up, Kate wrote to the Kemp family to thank them and added that George is in love with the juice and would like some more.
Roman described the encounter as a lovely moment, “My parents gave her some of the apple juice which they press in their garden to take home as a little gift,” he said and it made quite the impression on the little prince.
A few weeks later, she sent a lovely letter that my mum has kept it thanking us and saying hoping for more!” He added with a laugh, “It was surreal.
You never really expect to see a member of the Royal Family walking around in their socks!”
Meanwhile, the Princess of Wales is tackling a modern parenting challenge with her Early Years Centre.
The Royal Foundation’s Centre for Early Childhood announced a £100,000 initiative to study “technoference” the unwanted distractions gadgets can create in family life and is inviting researchers to submit proposals.
