Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has to begin 2026 by facing bitter realities as his journey at 20 years of age at Royal Lodge comes to an end.

On October 30, King Charles not only stripped his brother of his titles and honors but also announced that a legal process had begun, which required the former prince to vacate the massive mansion.

A private accommodation has been arranged for him by the monarch in Sandringham estate, where Andrew will not have royal perks.

Jennie Bond, a royal expert, first shed light on the former Duke of York's true feelings about leaving the Royal Lodge in the coming weeks.

In conversation with the Mirror, she said, "I’m sure he’s feeling humiliated and, by all accounts, angry. You have to remember that he has consistently protested his innocence."

Andrew might not get the lavish treatment at his new place after a shameful exit from the royal household. But, Jennie claimed that he is not someone who will ever feel "humble" despite his scandals.

She added, "That’s not in his nature. I think he will expect to have staff in his new home, as I don’t imagine he has the first idea about how to cook, clean or shop."

Moreover, Jennie also advised Andrew to present himself in front of the Congressional House Oversight Committee's ranking Democrat, investigating Jeffrey Epstein's case.

"One thing he could do to show some remorse (for, at the very least, his bad judgment in befriending Epstein) is to cooperate with the Congressional committee and tell them what he saw and what he knows. At the moment, though, that seems unlikely," the royal expert shared.
