Meghan Markle may be taking major strides in her career, but she also seems to be losing some big support along the way.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, ever since they left their senior royal roles back in 2020, have nearly 20 staffers leave their employment amid swirling reports of Meghan’s bullying and ‘toxic’ behaviour.
The As Ever founder was notably experimenting and exploring with many different professions during her time and it seems to have caused a bit of ambiguity about her brand, according to experts.
Meghan is only digging herself a bigger hole by not heeding the advice given to her in her big plans. As the former Suits actress steps back into Hollywood, there has been immense scrutiny about her next step given that Meghan had been establishing her image as an entrepreneur since the start of the year.
According to expert Hilary Fordwich, there is “instability and brand confusion within the couple’s discombobulated operations”. Moreover, she noted that there is clear indication that Meghan is once again trying to “reshape” her image.
Although, royal expert Kinsey Schofield told Fox News Digital that there is “growing evidence to support the rumours” that the Duchess “struggles to follow the direction of her advisors”.
Kinsey cited former Sussex staff that Meghan seems receptive to advice and “acts as if she will execute it in the way that it has been presented, and then does the complete opposite”.
Prince Harry’s wife had been facing immense backlash for her appearance at Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday at Jeff Bezos mansion. It seemed like a disrespect since the party was on the eve of Remembrance Day. And while Harry wore a poppy pin to mark the day, Meghan was seen without it.
“Meghan blames the media and public for misinterpreting or misunderstanding her,” Kinsey elucidated. “It’s an exhausting cycle, and for many who have worked with her, ultimately an unsustainable one.”
Meghan is set to make a cameo in upcoming movie Close Personal Friends, ending her eight-year hiatus. The move came just after a major shake-up in her team just weeks prior.
