Meghan Markle once again made it to the bad books of Britons amid Prince Harry's desperate attempts to find a way back to royal life.
On November 8, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a surprise appearance at the star-studded 70th birthday bash of Kris Jenner at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos's Beverly Hills mansion.
Dressed in all black outfits, the Sussexes' outing came around Remembrance week as Harry was seen giving tribute to war heroes with a red poppy pinned on his outfit, but Meghan avoided using the symbolic gesture.
At the time, it was reported that it was difficult to find poppy pins in the US.
However, a royal expert criticised Meghan and called her move 'insulting' to the UK residents.
As per GB, royal commentator Lee Cohen said, "Meghan's relationship to Britain appears purely transactional - when it suits her. When respect requires effort or humility, she demurs. When it requires glamour or victimhood, she embraces it."
He added, "Meghan's excuse for not wearing a poppy this Remembrance weekend was not simply unconvincing - it was insulting."
Mr Lee took a dig at Meghan, saying that poppy is used by those who "carry a sense of duty, gratitude, and loyalty", which the Duchess of Sussex lacks.
"Meghan has demonstrated time and again that she carries none of these. Better she didn’t wear it. She is not worthy of it," he continued.
