Kim Kardashian 'All’s Fair' costar claps back at harsh criticism on drama
Kim Kardashian’s performance has become a target of critique in 'All’s Fair'
Kim Kardashian’s latest series, All’s Fair, might be bombarded with bad reviews, but her costar Glenn Close still believes in their project.
The 78-year-old actress addressed the criticism in a new interview and defended the reality star’s performance on the show, which has especially been a target of critique.
“I swear to God, I’ve seen all nine episodes and it’s pretty f--king good. It is what it is: it’s juicy and outrageous at times and touching,” Close told The Guardian, on Saturday, November 15.
The Fatal Attraction star praised Kardashian, 45, for her onscreen skills, as well as real-life dedication, calling her “lovely” and “very smart.”
Close continued, “[Kardashian is] very, very conscientious with her kids. When we were filming she was going through working towards her law degree, and near the end she would have flashcards. She now has her law degree, and I asked her: ‘Are you going to practice?’ And she said: ‘No, I just want it in my back pocket.’”
The Kardashians star, who recently revealed that she failed her bar exam on the first try, appeared in the legal drama alongside Close, Niecy Nash, Naomi Watts, and Sarah Paulson.
Reputable media critics piled negative reviews upon negative reviews soon after the series premiered earlier this month.
