Meghan Markle may be attempting to break the ice with the royal family after things went awry last weekend.

Prince Harry has already begun reconciliations with his father King Charles, but it seems that Meghan is also trying to put in the effort by reaching out to her sister-in-law Kate Middleton.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have celebrated the festive season privately in an intimate celebration at their Montecito mansion, but this time around, Meghan is planning something different.

The As Ever founder will be releasing a special episode of her Netflix show, With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration, which will be aired on December 3rd.

In a new update on her Instagram Story, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s mum shared a positive message.

“Oh, we see you!” the caption read on the original post. “Not even Thanksgiving yet and you’ve already got this in the bag.”

On Thursday, Kensington Palace had officially announced the return of Kate’s annual Together at Christmas Carol Service at Westminster Abbey for a fifth year in a row.

In a video shared by Kensington Palace, it showed a grey snowy day and the doors cracking open and a comforting warmth that slips out.

Details of the show were also unveiled, with the carol service taking place on December 5th.

“Christmas is a time that connects us all. Tis the season!” the message read.

Two days later, Meghan was seen decorating her home for Christmas, getting the stockings ready in the same kind of glow. The caption underneath the video appeared to be a cryptic message, perhaps a bit of encouragement for Kate for the big task ahead.

The theme for Kate’s service this year is to celebrate “love in all its forms” and aims to “bring people together”. It also spreads the joy of “reconnecting” families, a theme the royal family has been skirting around this year.

It is unlikely the Meghan and Prince Harry will be getting an invite, but it could spark some hope that Christmas cards or happy greetings could be exchanged during this time.
