Brazil has been plunged into mourning by the tragic and sudden death of social media influencer Fernanda Maroca at age 30.
Fernanda had a fan base of 54,000 on Instagram she balanced her life as a digital creator with her role as a local legislator.
Though her cause of death still remains unclear, her sudden death has sent shock waves across the nation as tributes are pouring in to celebrate her life.
Fernanda’s body was discovered on Thursday, October 23, 2025, inside her home in Lago Verde, near Sao Luis, by family members who informed the authorities immediately.
The Marhanhao Military Police have initiated an investigation into her death.
Fernanda’s last Instagram post came on Sunday, October 19, 2025. The post showed her smiling peacefully by a lakeside, completely unaware of the tragedy that would follow.
She captioned it, “Grandpa and grandma talking, and we’re running around.”
Fans have flooded the post with comments of heartbreak, agony, and shock, describing her as a beautiful soul whose life had just started to blossom.

She was serving for the second time as a local councilwoman and had been the president twice of the Lago Verde City Council in the past five years, a remarkable feat for someone of her age.
