He further said that the FBI has assumed all liaison responsibilities.

The Sheriff said, "The public is frustrated. Even the Guthrie family.

"Every passing second must feel like 100 days because they don't know. What matters is moving forward carefully so we don't make mistakes or falsely accuse somebody or make a bad arrest."

The major update comes as over 100 days has been passed since TODAY anchor Savannah Guthrie's mother went missing from her home in Tucson, Arizona.

Meanwhile, there are reports Savannah is 'frustrated' over slow pace investigation in her beloved mother Nancy Guthrie missing case.

Nancy is always on her daughter, Savannah’s mind, the reports claimed adding she wasn’t on the Today show on the morning of May 15, 2026.

Savannah became emotional and broke down in tears between the commercial breaks, but was quick enough to compose herself before the cameras started to roll again.

The close source recently revealed that Savannah was not back to normal, but she had been showing strength with each passing day.

"It’s of course not ‘back to normal’ for Savannah, nor does anyone expect it to be. The grace and strength she shows each day, putting one foot in front of the other despite the pain, is truly inspirational,” the spy added.
