'Only Murders in the Building 6' faces major shake-up with unexpected move
'Only Murders in the Building season 6' sparks frenzy with London move rumours
Only Murders in the Building is reportedly heading to London for its next season, and fans are already losing it over the possible change.
The hit Hulu series, starring Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez, was rumoured to be taking its mystery across the pond after its California storyline in season 4.
Sources told Deadline that the upcoming season is expected to be set in London, marking the first international chapter in the show’s history.
Although Hulu has not officially announced the renewal, insiders believe the deal is nearly done because of the show’s massive popularity and loyal following.
However, there is also speculation that the London storyline could be teased in the season 5 finale, which airs on October 28.
The current season followed the shocking murder of The Arconia’s longtime doorman, Lester, pulling the main trio into a dangerous mystery involving an underground casino and mafia ties.
Moreover, the new season also included a star-studded lineup with Renée Zellweger, Christoph Waltz, Bobby Cannavale, Logan Lerman and Téa Leoni, along with returning favorites Meryl Streep and Nathan Lane.
If confirmed, the London move would give the show a fresh twist while keeping its signature humour and charm alive.
Fans are now already imagining the trio solving crimes inside a grand British mansion with their usual chaos and cleverness.
Created by Steve Martin and John Hoffman, Only Murders in the Building continues to be one of Hulu’s biggest hits and a London backdrop is said to make the mystery even more exciting for its next round.
