Kate Middleton ditches wig during latest royal engagement
Kate Middleton shows off crowning glory with wig-free royal appearance to mark the third anniversary of Queen Elizabeth’s death
Kate Middleton returned to the spotlight with a somber look, showing off crowning glory with wig-free royal appearance to mark the third anniversary of Queen Elizabeth’s death.
The Princess of Wales looked different from her previous outings as she visited the Women’s Institute (WI) branch in Sunningdale, close to Windsor Castle on Monday, September 8.
The future Queen seemingly opted against hair extensions or a wig for her latest engagement, following her bold new look at an event that sent social media into a frenzy.
Royal fans and experts alike weighed in on her striking blonde locks, sparking a lively debate about her hair transformation, with some alleging she wore a wig, while others were convinced she had used extensions.
Kate seemingly turned a deaf ear to the speculations and appeared to embrace her natural beauty, showcasing her stunning blonde hair without any apparent enhancements.
However, some still believe that she wears extensions, like many other celebrities, during her public outings.
Princess Catherine made headlines for her stunning locks as she resumed royal duties last week alongside the future king at the Natural History Museum, where her blonde style attracted cameras and made headlines.
Many sources have vehemently denied to the Daily Beast that she had either extensions or a wig.
Diana’s hairstylist Sam McKnight even reprimanded social media users for “attacking a vulnerable young woman” especially who has been through cancer after rude commentary emerged online.
“She has either got some extensions or she has got a wig called a U-bend, a half wig that sits under the top layer of your own hair. It’s her own hair, but she may have had some help for volume,” a prosthetic hair specialist told the outlet.
On the other hand, one specialist suggested that Kate was wearing “expensive and well-fitted” extensions.
On Saturday, the Princess effortlessly commanded attention as she kept her locks perfectly in place while cheering on England's Red Roses at Brighton & Hove Albion Stadium.
