King Charles celebrated one of the Isle of Man's most treasured traditions during his latest royal engagement.
On Tuesday, the monarch visited the historic Douglas Bay Horse Tramway as it marks its 150th anniversary.
The official Instagram handle of the British royal family shared that the King took a ride aboard the iconic horse-drawn passenger tramway.
Sharing an adorable video from King Charles' visit, the palace wrote, "Today The King visited the iconic Douglas Bay Horse Tramway, which celebrates its 150th anniversary this year."
"His Majesty took a ride on the oldest horse-drawn passenger tramway still operating during a day of engagements on the Isle of Man," they added.
Sharing the fun fact, the palace wrote, "Did you know that The King goes by the title ‘Lord of Mann’ when he’s on the Isle of Man? The ancient title is held by him as the island’s Head of State."
The Douglas Bay Horse Tramway has been carrying passengers along Douglas promenade since 1876 and remains a celebrated symbol of the island's heritage.
