Sabrina Carpenter surprises fans with ‘Man’s Best Friend’ bonus track
Sabrina Carpenter drops new single 'Such a Funny Way' a week after 'Man’s Best Friend' album release
Sabrina Carpenter followed up the Man’s Best Friend album hype with a bonus track, Such a Funny Way.
Almost a week after releasing her seventh album, the Espresso hitmaker dropped a new single on Thursday, September 4.
Taking to her Instagram the same day, the Please Please Please singer unveiled the surprise with a sweet post.
"A little surprise for you," she wrote in the caption of a photo that showed her sitting on the bed against the bedcrown, holding a receiver to her ear with a bored expression on her face.
"'Such a Funny Way' is a song i am so proud of," the Grammy winning songstress explained. "The sentiment is one i always thought could really be the end of Mans Best Friend in another universe! [sic]."
The Taste singer added, "i didn’t want you to wait too long to have it and get to know it," before delivering the new song. "It’s available for digital download now [paw and black heart emoji]."
The 26-year-old pop sensation released the 12-track album as well as the music video of one of her songs, Tears, on August 29, days after celebrating the first anniversary of her sixth album.
Led by Manchild, Man’s Best Friend marks Carpenter’s latest album following her breakthrough LP Short n’ Sweet, which spent four weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 last year.
