New ‘heartbreaking’ details emerge after Ozzy Osbourne’s sudden death
Ozzy Osbourne’s final days revealed: ‘He was in peace’
Ozzy Osbourne was reportedly enjoying his days in England ahead of his death.
The 76-year-old singer, known as the frontman of Black Sabbath, died with his wife Sharon by his side.
A source close to the Paranoid singer told PEOPLE, “[Sharon’s] deepest hope was fulfilled, and this is her focus now. Ozzy’s final days were spent in England, surrounded by family, music and in the place he called home. He was in peace.”
This comes on the heels of the Crazy Train rocker performing his final concert with Black Sabbath at England’s Villa Park.
During the farewell show on July 5, Osbourne sat on a bat-themed throne with skull design due to his inability to stand or walk.
An insider revealed, “That show meant everything. It brought his career full circle.”
Meanwhile, the heartbreaking announcement was made by his wife Sharon and their children – Jack, Kelly, Aimee, and Louis – on Tuesday, July 22.
The statement read, “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.”
For the unversed, the Dreamer singer passed away on Tuesday, July 22.
