The heavy metal icon, who breathed his last on Tuesday, treated his Back To The Beginning show as a personal 'celebration of life,' surrounded by his loved ones.
Now, the longtime friend, David Ellefson has come to the spotlight, praising Ozzy's devoted wife, Sharon, for arranging the event so 'the world would say goodbye' to the legendary musician, reported The Mirror.
'It really felt like this was the celebration of life before this inevitable day that happened right? Because Ozzy knew it, right? We have seen the videos online. He knew his days were numbered.
'God bless Sharon and all those people that did this because for the world to say goodbye to Ozzy.
'What a great way to say goodbye. It was just a beautiful thing that will live with all of us forever.'

The singer’s family confirmed the news in a statement that read, "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning.”
