Ameesha Patel reveals 'real' story behind replacing Priyanka Chopra

Ameesha Patel is finally opening up about replacing Priyanka Chopra in Abbas Burmavalla’s iconic film Humraaz.

During an exclusive interview with Filmy Mantra, the Kaho Na Pyaar Hai actress revealed her dynamic with the Don 2 star after replacing her in the Bobby Deol starrer.

The 49-year-old, who has previously worked with Chopra in Aap Ki Khatir, told the outlet about her experience working with the actress.

She said, “I had great chemistry with all my actors. Not meaning to pick her in particular, but with all my actors, and I think you will see that on-screen.”

Expressing her pride in being the second choice for the film after the Quantico star turned it down, Ameesha revealed, “We had a great camaraderie, and we are thorough professionals. And she is also a thorough professional.”

In addition, Patel also claimed that films she's replaced actresses in tend to become super hits.

On professional front, the actress last starred in Gadar 2 alongside Sunny Deol. Meanwhile, Priyanka is currently occupied with the promotions of her film Heads of State, which stars John Cena and Idris Elba in lead roles.
