Prince Harry raised eyebrows with his surprise move which also contradicted his own statement regarding security.
The Duke of Sussex travelled to war-hit Ukraine on April 10 to highlight significant work happening at the Superhumans Center in Lviv.
At the time, Harry's team revealed that the Prince "toured the facility, meeting with patients and medical staff to witness the incredible treatment offered to soldiers, civilians, and children who have endured life-altering injuries."
Soon after the Duke made it to the headlines due to his visit to the conflicted region before Prince William, several royal experts called out Harry's 'mad' move and predicted a reignition of a rift between the brothers.
Daily Mail's Richard Kay said on the Palace Confidential, "Part of his shtick is that it's not safe for him to be in the UK. And then [he was seen] jetting off to a bona fide war zone in Ukraine."
"I mean, good for him, he was following things [close to him], supporting injured warriors, but it's slightly mad to suggest that he's somehow not safe in Britain but he would be safe in a war zone," he shared.
While revealing the Prince of Wales' possible reaction to Harry's shocking decision, Richard stated that William must be "annoyed" as he is only "following Government advice and going to places where it's deemed safe for him to go."
