Benny Blanco dedicates his special day to beloved fiance Selena Gomez
Benny Blanco celebrates his birthday with a special themed birthday for Selena Gomez's sake
Although it was Benny Blanco’s birthday, he made sure that his fiance Selena Gomez remained under the spotlight.
Notabl, the Lose You to Love Me singer has never attended her high school prom nights so her fiance, who enjoyed the occasion twice in high school, celebrated his 37th birthday with a prom-themed party on March 8.
During his appearance at Jennifer Hudson’s eponymous Jennifer Hudson Show on Monday, April 7, Blanco, who collaborated with Justin Bieber on Lonely, Lose Yourself and more songs, spilled the beans about his latest birthday celebrations.
"Selena had never been to a prom before, so I thought I’d throw us a prom for my birthday," the seasoned prom professional told the host, adding that the first time he went to the prom with his friends and the second time with his then-girlfriend.
"But really, honestly, my favourite prom was with my partner," the record producer admitted, awe-inspiring the crowd.
The songwriter, whose real name is Benjamin Joseph Levin, made his birthday party memorable for his partner and surprised her with a prom quintessential tradition– a corsage.
"I got her a corsage," Benny, 37, proudly shared while recounting how Gomez, 32, was excited about the part and preparing what to wear
